New Year's Resolutions...

Happy 1/1/11!

Chad reminded me that the cooler date is 11/11/11, followed by 1/11/11. Yes. We're nerds.

I'm spending my day relaxing and tweeting the weirdness that is the Weight Watchers office being closed on New Year's Day.  Which would also clue you in to the fact that one of my New Year's Resolutions is to get rid of this baby weight. And perhaps the honeymoon weight and the fall of 2003 weight and the Christmas of 2007 weight and...well...you get the idea. Needless to say, it's time.

I'm not resolving to lose any particular amount. I don't want to set my bar unobtainably high - remember last year's resolution to run a marathon? Which was obviously made while the post baby hormones made my brain think that I enjoyed running.

Speaking of resolutions, I'm also hanging out with Kristi at Mommy Crib Notes where I'm sharing my list of the resolutions that most moms will make and then...break.

Head on over and share a little Mandyland love on this chilly January day.

And don't forget to eat your black-eyed peas.

I am starting weight watchers this week as well. Here's to success!

I'll have to check out that book. I wonder if our local library carries it...

I've had really solid sucess with WW in the past. Prior to having Elizabeth, I lost 25 lbs. I also lost a solid chunk before getting married. I was able to keep it off, for the most part, until insane dinners with multiple bottles of wine on a nightly basis got the best of me. :)

Pregnancy has been my big weight gain "culprit". I'm just not one of those women who can go nine months and only gain 10 lbs. (More like 60.)

WW is also doing a new deal called Points Plus that takes into account fat, carbs and protein. I'm curious how it works.
