We all scream for ice cream!
Joseph and I joined a group of local moms and their little ones at Cold Stone Creamery today for a tour and ice cream making playgroup.
Side note: Craziness is 13 children under four in one small ice cream parlor.
After touring the freezers - which felt heavenly on an already hot morning - the kids lined up to take turns going behind the counter to get their ice cream. Joseph and Jax spent a lot of time looking at all the toppings, trying to decide between rainbow sprinkles and gummy bears. This was a very tough decision that apparently needed quite a lot of discussion and contemplation. Rainbow sprinkles on cotton candy ice cream won out for my little guy.
After ice cream, we went with Jackson (Jax) and Jackson to the park to run all that sugar out of their systems. Needless to say, Joseph is out for the count. I think we need to do more ice cream/park trips.

How funny- cotton candy ice cream is one of Jurgen's favorites. He gets two scoops of cotton candy and one of pistachio nut at Rite Aid. Cheap!
Ok now I want some!:)
What a great place for a playgroup! I might have to steal this idea :-) ... before it starts to cool off! Can't believe how much older J is looking - WOW! Was this the 1st solo trip with the 2 kiddos???
Kendra - I'm totally bummed I didn't get ice cream!
Danielle - Cold Stone was great. the kiddos didn't really care about the temperature that the ice cream reaches while being made, but they sure loved walking into the freezer. :D
