Arrgghh!

My seedlings are dead. All dead.

This is a gardening tragedy of monumental proportions.

They were residing in little greenhouse boxes. Cute little boxes that should have protected the fragile seedlings, allowing them to grow like the proverbial weeds.

Instead half are mildewed and the other half are toasted. Only I could grow mold and fry in the same container.

Back to the drawing board...

I will have to check my class materials when I have a chance, but I think you're supposed to remove the covering as soon as the seeds germinate (as soon as any of them poke their noses out of the soil anyway). I haven't done it myself... I bought a grow light but haven't actually used it yet.

Yeah, I checked, you're supposed to take the cover off as soon as they germinate.

Thanks. Round 2 will see the instant removal of the covers after they sprout. :D

The other thing I needed to change was moving them from the south facing wall. Too much light = too much heat.

I'll get this at some point. :P
