As a blogger, I try very hard to do a post every day or two. Sadly, life has gotten so crazy over the last couple of months, that I'm only averaging a post every three days! Travesty! Tragedy!
My Spring Resolution is to get back on track.
First things first, I know you're all dying to know how Fantasy Football finished up.
I lost. Again.
That covers that.
In other clean-up news...
In February, I went back to the Ellen show with Melissa, Becky and Danielle. We had a blast! I really could do this once a month. No. Really. I could.
No, we didn't get a $500 gift card. No, we didn't get to participate in the games. We did, however, get to sit second row back. We did have an amazing picnic with food Melissa brought over from Alcove and listened to crazy stories about her trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.
Short version, just because it's too funny not to tell:
Melissa and her friend Elena booked a flight from LAX to New Orleans with a connection in St. Paul. Because, as you know, Minnesota is on the way to Louisiana. When the arrived at the gate, they were told that they were not going to be able to make it on their flight because it was "too heavy". Their luggage, however, was on it's way to New Orleans. Their choices? Wait until Saturday (this was on a Thursday) or...rent a car.
They, along with four other stranded travelers, rented a car and drove south for fifteen hours. The car, driven by Preacher Steve, made it safe and sound in New Orleans where my sister met up with our cousin and proceeded to have a phenomenal time.
Only Melissa.
