Gearing Up...

It's going to be a busy weekend.

Today was a List Day. Every now and then, when Chad and I think our life is spinning drastically out of control, we write down everything we think we need to get done. I'm not talking big ideas here. I'm talking small, easily accomplished, sitting on my brain tasks. Things like changing the oil, calling alternative auto insurance companies, making dentist appointments, hooking up the new printer. Little things that start to add up and clutter our minds.

I'm happy to say we did almost everything on the list. We didn't change the oil in the cars because we remembered that Nissan does free oil changes and why pay when you can get it done for free?

In addition to our normal List clutter, Rachel and I are also doing the Birth and Baby Fair tomorrow. Stroller Strides will have a booth and be sponsoring a Diaper Dash and Toddler Run. If you're in SLO-ville, at the Mission, stop by and say hi. Rachel will give you a Luna bar and you can see The Belly in person.

Then Sunday is a double whammy...

Obviously it's Mother's Day. And, since I'm a mom, I get to celebrate. It's also Chad and my sixth wedding anniversary. That's right, dear readers, we've been married six whole years. I wish I could say, "and never had a fight." But let's get real. I'm part Irish, part Italian. (And maybe Greek?) I have Chad thisclose to agreeing to see either Wolverine or Star Trek. An act of love if I ever saw one. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Sounds like you checked it off your list, but Costco has awesome insurance prices. I switched recently and saved about $1000 a year!

Seriously? Hmmm...we may have to look into that. So far we haven't found a cheaper insurance - mostly because Chad's been with his current group since 1912. Well...maybe not quite that long. :D
