This is just a quick blog from the House of Mouse, the Magic Kingdom, the Happiest Place on Earth...in other words, the home of $3 waters - Disneyland.
Maybe I'm just used to fair prices, but I have not yet experienced Disney-induced sticker shock. I've even said today, "Wow...that's not a bad price." Twice.
We had a very eventful day, which I will blog about when I get back. A few highlights to whet your whistle...
Disney on a diet does not work. In any shape or form. Ever. However, I'm working on the assumption that all the walking that is required to reach any part of the park cancels out any sort of diet blunders that I may have committed. (That and carrying a toddler who doesn't want to ride in the stroller.)
The only mothers who leave Disneyland looking as good as they did when they came in are either royalty or celebrities who get to skip the lines. Every other mother ends up looking hot, sticky (from that spilled juice) and swollen - myself leading the pack.
Two is a wonderful age, unless you're at a crowded theme park in August and trying to explain to them the concept of waiting in line while they're swinging on the ropes that have a large "do not play on the ropes" sign above them. More of the wonders of Disney with a preschooler in a future post.
Still...as hot, tired and dirty as I feel right now, I'm loving the big D. I'll be posting a detailed account this weekend. Unless I decide to stay and work the Jungle Cruise.

I was just telling Matt the other day how I want to go to Disneyland. However, after reading your post we may just have to wait :).
