Over the last two months, I've done 1,400 squats.
For years, I've seen 30 day challenges on Pinterest. Thirty day abs, thirty day squats, thirty day biceps...you name a muscle group, there's a challenge.
So I decided to take one.
There was a simple little challenge to do 10 squats a day every day for 30 days. At the end, I was assured a firmer butt and the ability to say, "I did 300 squats this month!"
Which sounds impressive.
So I did it.
And, after a month, I saw no noticeable difference. Maybe my butt was too flat and wide to begin with, I thought. Perhaps I need to up it, I pondered.
So I did three reps of ten a day. That's thirty squats a day for thirty days. That's 900 squats in a month which sounds WAY more impressive.
But also didn't change my butt in any way, shape, or form.
Still, I can officially say, I did 1,400 squats in two months. That sounds seriously bad ass. Even if it didn't make my ass look bad. In a good way.
What I have discovered is that it's now a habit. I don't even think about it as I do them while waiting for my shower to warm up. So maybe that was my lesson?
Anyone else ever done a thirty day challenge?

So awesome! I need to do something... and this might be a good start.
You go woman!
You miss the part where I say it's made absolutely no noticable difference. As in, my butt is still as flat and wide as a large load semi.
But go for it! :D
