I'm hosting Supper Club at my place this weekend. The theme: Moroccan Buffet.
We're talking marinated olives, homemade pitas, preserved lemon stuff chicken, salads made with peppers and fresh herbs, and sweet mint tea.
The weather's been gorgeous, beyond gorgeous actually, so I'm going to have it outside.
In my dreams, with an unlimited budget, I'd welcome my guests while wearing a caftan and dangling earrings. My backyard would be transformed into a plush, tented concoction of reds, oranges, pinks, blues, and yellows. We'd lounge on leather poofs and sip tea out of delicate glass tea cups.
But mint tea is not the only mint in my life. I've been doing amazingly well on my Mint.com goal planning. (And no. This is not a sponsored post. I just love their goal planning and graphs and pretty pie charts.) The kids and I are on track to fly to Boston for a week this summer, which feels great.
But how pretty are these from Amazon?
I'm trying, very hard, to resist. And, while doing so, remind myself of things like fried dough, cannolis, first plane trips, and good friends.
Especially when I see that there is a matching tea pot.
Good friends, fried dough, sandy Atlantic ocean beaches, light houses, Rhode Island.
Did you see the silver tray?
Utterly. Gorgeous.

Summer is wonderful up here in the frozen north. Thawed out, sunny... sprinklers in the back yard, grilling and firepits... and I'll introduce you around this time :)
Wow! This Moroccan mint tea is pretty interesting! I would really love to try this so soon. Thanks for sharing!
