I had a light bulb moment last weekend for an amazing gift idea.
A gift idea that shall be nameless for a bit longer because I'm fairly certain those who will be receiving said gifts sporadically read my blog.
Or, at least, I like to think so.
So, last night, I pulled out my beautiful fabric with contrasting and coordinating colors and set about sewing.
Without a pattern.
Because I couldn't find one that looked easy enough.
Which should have been my first clue.
Needless to say, I got stuck. Frustrated, I sent a frantic SOS to my sister Becky who makes sewing without a pattern look effortless.
She texted me in response and is certain she'll be able to help me. In between making Hobbit cloaks. In the meantime, I'm trying to decide whether or not Maxine has a good point or if I should raise my eyebrows in her direction.
After all, if you remember the Jedi robes, the treat bags, and the dress, I do tend to call for Becky when the sewing gets tough. Or, as Mom put it, "wild".
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to sew we go!
