When my friend Dolly told me that her 30th birthday party was going to be a murder mystery dinner, I had three words for her:
Sign. Me. Up.
I've always loved a good murder party. Not the ones where people actually die. (Those are such a drag.) But the ones where you dress up and pretend to be someone else while solving a crime.
Is it any wonder my therapist is making bank off of me?
This particular party was 1920's themed. My name was Ritzy. Ritzy Carlton. I put on my pearls, finger waved my hair, made my mouth into a cupid bow and wandered over for a night of mayhem and fun. Or was it fun and mayhem? Either way, it was a fabulous way to celebrate a birthday.
Makes me tempted to do it for one of my own.
Oh and yes. I solved the crime. Puh-lease. Did you doubt?
It was her. The one in gray. Doesn't she look guilty?

I'm still thinking about those eyelashes.
Seriously. Yum.
You looked amazing....and I love things like this too..it's been so long since I've been to one..but oh the memories.
It doesn't surprise me at all that you solved it...you're awesome!
You look gorgeous! I've never been to a Murder Mystery party before, but it sounds fun and a great way to celebrate, with stories to tell after the story is told! :>
You're beautiful! Love the name Ritzy Carlton :)
That sounds like so much fun! You looked gorgeous (duh) and I'm super jealous!
I love you.
Whoa. Where did that come from? Oh right. The knowledge that I would do the same thing with the hair, makeup, etc. And the name. Perfection.
I've been to a murder mystery but it wasn't a dress-up one. Now I'm jealous!
That is great! Now, did she purchase the script for it or write it herself? How in the world do you even go about planning one of these?!?
My actress cousin is involved in staging these murder mystery parties!!! They sound like so much fun. But I've nver been to one myself!! And you solved it too!? Sweet!
