One of the things I wanted to do during my Blogiversary week is host a video tour of my garden.
Sadly, the technology failed me.
Or I failed the technology.
Either way, utter fail.
Unless...
I do a little something...
And skip the whole "editing" process...
And end up with...
Damn. I'm good.

This is a really nice, well-tended garden, you are doing fantastic job.
Beautiful garden - I'm so jealous of all that vegetable & herb goodness you've got going. And did I spot sunflowers?? (my favorite)
Do the chickens ever get let out of that tiny coop?
Gorgeous. We didn't get ours in this year, but we're still enjoying artichokes from last year's planting and strawberries from my boy's little plant he brought home from the school field trip to the Ag Fair, more than three and a half years ago. And the graphed apple tree is fruiting this year, so we're looking forward to fresh apples from the backyard this fall! (Thank goodness, 'cause my kidlets sure eat enough of them! lol) Oh yea, and I'd better not let said boy see your video. He asked us the other day to grow corn. We escaped by saying we need more room. Your vid could get me in truuuuhhhhble! ;> :>
it's looking great! I even noticed a slight breeze in the air... what a treat!!
we removed the "rotten" raised garden bed frames & creature-decoy wire... out to the trash! Don't know if we'll miss the garden? perhaps we'll plant another when we have more time to devote to caring for it??
thanks for sharing ~~~ allowed us to see, without making a drive north.
Wow it looks incredible!!! Look at you go! We have a third of an acre and it's all we can do to make sure the sprinkler system is running smoothly! ;D
Very impressive. And your chickens look happy to me! :)
Thank you. I'm so happy that it's actually growing well!
Yes! I panted a few sunflowers from a seed packet I got in the mail. They went nuts!!
That tiny coop is actually far larger than the ones commecial chickens live in. But yes, they get to roam the yard quite a bit. :)
I really want to try artichokes some day. I see them growing wild in the ditches along some of the country roads but never seem to get to them before they bloom.
I have to confess that my strawberries are now dead. :)
Do you have any idea what I would do with a third of an acre?? My heart is nearly stopping at the thought.
LOL I bet!!! :D I'll have to post some photos, they're long overdue. My hubby works SO hard on it while I'm asleep during the day (he works evenings and I work graveyards,) and I wake up to heaven. It looks like a mountain golf course, and we have kids and dogs! He's amazing.
We wanted to grow veggies this year but with all that lawn to tend to, and our never-ending sprinkler system issues, our jobs and him just finishing grad school, we didn't have time after all. Boo! ...But I can always live vicariously through you! ;D
