Instagram Love

I was recently turned on to a fun little free app called Instagram. At first, I listened while Morgan raved about how much fun it was. I stood with a slight smile and an interested "hmmm" at appropriate places. She insisted I download it, so I did. (When a woman who has been quoted in actual news stories insists you do something, you do it.)

It sat on my iPhone, staring at me accusingly for months.

Then, during my Frustration, and the subsequent bang cutting, Alex asked for pictures.

I had no idea how to go about putting a picture on Twitter. It was then I remembered what Morgan had said. I held up my camera, snapped a picture, shared it and...

I was hooked.

I'm now able to share pictures on both Twitter and Facebook at the same time.

Pictures like:

Elizabeth at the beach.

Joseph at the beach.

Really cool sand picture. Or rock picture. Your choice.

Pictoral proof that my legs are as white as a a whale's belly. Wait. Are whale bellies white?

Now, I obviously need to figure out how to make the pictures a bit bigger so I can share them on here. I have a feeling it's possible. A good feeling. I may have to email Morgan and find out more.

EDIT: Thanks to Betsy for helping me figure out the sizing situation with a no-duh solution. You rock, lady. (Also? She cooks. Like REALLY cooks. Go check her out.)

P.S. My post on Making Mistakes is being run again on Mamapedia. Go check it out! I mean...a repeat! This is, like, HUGE.

The instagrams save in your photo library. I email them to myself then upload to my blog and they show up larger. Hope that helps! I just started following you on instagram :)

Awwww lovey! I'm so glad you're hooked on Instagram too. I adore your photos. Don't you love how the filters magically erase fine lines and wrinkles? Not that you have any... ;)
