So This is What it Feels Like

I got an email.

It wasn't very long.

It was pretty businesslike.

And it made me walk on air with a giant smile on my face and a tendency to lift both arms up with a "wa-hoo!" at random moments.

For three days.

It was an email from BlogHer.

Yes. BlogHer.

It said, and I quote, "We'd like to syndicate one of your blog posts."

I was syndicated on BlogHer.com

That feeling rushed me to the moon and back. One of my posts on BlogHer.

And do you want to know the best, the funniest part?

It wasn't a post about my family. It wasn't a post inspired by a memory. It wasn't a post about a laugh out loud moment. No. It was a tutorial. For a garden item.

Good Lord kids. Those poor people at BlogHer are going to think I'm a gardening blogger.

Don't out me, okay? They don't need to know about the Boxes of Death. That can be our little secret.

But, do me a favor. Head over to BlogHer and make it the sparkliest, most commented on garden tutorial ever published to their page.

This is the link. As in, click on this entire sentence to be transported to gardening brilliance.

I need to do a shout out to a few people: Alex from Late Enough who planted the seed. Alexandra from Good Day and Regular People and Gigi from A Kludgy Mom for their amazing tutorials on how to contact BlogHer. And yes, I had to read TWO tutorials before I got my head around it.
