Week Word - November

This week's word is November...

What does November mean to me?

November brings to mind turkeys and falling leaves. It makes me remember to be thankful.

Thankful for all that I have. I have two healthy, happy children. I have one healthy, more or less happy husband.  (He says he'd be happier if I would let him watch a full football game.)  I have a happy, healthy dog.

I'm healthy.

I'm happy.

Thankful for my family.  My parents are never more than a phone call away with advice, love and understanding. And good gossip. My in-laws are here whenever we need a spur of the moment sitter, help building a fence or have locked ourselves out of the house.  My sisters are my best friends.  They stand beside me, loving me unconditionally.  My sister-in-law is an amazing, fun and sweet woman.  My brothers-in-law are the best uncles my children could ask for.  And my niece and nephews are an extension of my heart.

Thankful for the amazing friends that have entered my life.  They love my jokes (or at least pretend to) and they provide me with willing shoulders.  And blog topics.

Thankful that this is my life and these are the people in it. I wouldn't have it any other way.

What does November mean to you?

I'm thankful you are a blog friend, work colleague, and JPE's right-hand person (makes both of our lives easier)...

Great post. You made me think about all the things I have to be thankful for also. And how lucky I am that I not only love and enjoy my own family, but my husbands as well. Except when they are doing the macarena. Then...not so much.
