Sgt. Pepper

Oh dear Lord.

I went to OSH last night to pick up a couple stakes and a bag of soil.  I had a vague idea that I should check out their kids' tools to see if I can find a metal trowel and rake for Joseph.

I walked out with six new pepper plants.

Chad's going to kill me, especially when he finds the squash that jumped into my cart.

On the plus side, I walked away from the melons, even with Joseph pleading and begging me to buy him a Baby Watermelon.

I'm done now.  Honestly.  It's irresponsible to bring home anything else.  I simply don't have the room.  At lest until I harvest my onions and garlic.  Then...

My dear husband knows that if I go to anywhere with plants, we'll have a new one (or ten). I love to dig in the dirt with my girls. I plant, they pick (flowers mostly). At least you're putting in things that should bear fruit!

I keep expecting Chad to put out a memo to the local garden shops, enlisting their aid!

Fingers crossed that some of my plants do more than flower! Last year so many of them teased with flowers and then slowly died off.
