I wanted to make Laners a special birthday crown similar to the one that Becky and Rachel made Benny. I have to say, I'm quite proud of myself. Joseph can't wait for me to make him one.
Full disclosure: Becky helped me with that bottom zig zag seam. For some reason, I just can't sew a straight line. And yes, I do realize that there are guides. Must be my mental, "They're guides not rules" voice.
And then, for the baby shower I helped throw Julie today at work, I made this:
The basket was inspired by this. I think it's going to be my go-to baby shower gift. I can't wait to make a girly one. Can you just imagine the explosion of pink? My teeth hurt just thinking of the sweetness.
