Deck the Halls

Christmas is nearly upon us and, in typical Mandy fashion, I have yet to start my Christmas shopping. To quote Ming Ming, "This is serious."

On the plus side, I did get my holiday baking mostly done.

In other Christmas news...

Last Tuesday, Elizabeth and I joined some of my co-workers for a Christmas breakfast. Yum. Elizabeth was a champion. She behaved herself for the two hour meal. Of course, considering she was ooh'd and ahh'd over and passed around like visiting royalty, it make sense. The girl loves attention.

Wednesday was yet another Christmas breakfast at work. There was an ornament/sock exchange that made me laugh so hard, I thought I was going to cry. I came home with a so-ugly-it's-cute ornament that brought a smile to my face.

Our home is slowly starting to look a bit like Christmas. We still need to do the outside lights, but that's on the schedule for this weekend.

Side note: We've spent most of this week tearing up tomato, bell pepper and hot pepper plants. I'm still shocked with how long they all produced.

We have one week until Christmas morning. One very short week. I need to get on the ball and off the internet!
