Introducing Echoes in Darkness

Six months ago I was invited to take part in an anthology. A dark and spooky anthology with some of the most amazing indie authors out there. (Two of the stories made me afraid to turn off the lights.)

Let's just pause there for a moment.

I'm not exactly dark and spooky. The closest I've ever gotten was with my magic dagger/interesting demon-ish sort of guy with a couple writing prompts. Two to be exact.

Still, I was intrigued. Could I write something dark?

After months of struggling and deleting and banging my head against the wall, the answer was a resounding no. However, I was able to write something supernatural. Something paranormal. Something just a little bit different. In fact, I got on such a roll, I ended up writing nearly 20K words in a little over a week. I couldn't stop.

But I did.

For the moment.

I stopped, edited, deleted, edited, and finally came up with something I felt would be worthy of submitting.

And today, it's available on Amazon and Goodreads.

Also, yes. I'm doing a happy dance right about now. A spooky happy dance.
