"Hey babe!" I say when Chad picks up the phone. "I just put a box of produce in the trunk and had a thought."
"What's that?"
"Our trunk is too small to fit a body."
"Yeah," he slowly replies. "Now that I think about it, it is."
"I mean, not that I plan on moving a body any time soon, but I had this thought that if someone knocked me into the trunk while I was loading up, I really wouldn't have a lot of room to maneuver and escape."
"Well, there is that latch. You'd just have to use that."
"That's true. But, seriously, if they tied me up, I don't think I'd be able to flip over or even straighten out."
"You know...it's something we should keep in mind next time we go car shopping."

This is to funny! I have terrible thoughts like that all the time. I now own a CRV, which much to my delight, lack any enclosed trunk. That's one less escape I have to worry about planning.
