MIA

Postings have been scarce this week.  Mostly because it's my last week before going back to work so I've decided to tackle projects like this.

And trust me, you haven't begun to paint until you've painted with a little boy who wants to "help" but then decides "this is too hard" and a little girl who wants to be a) held or 2) finger painting.

On the bright side, I've wanted to paint these walls for seven years.  On the down side, now that we've started to paint, we've realized how awful our floors, counters and cabinets are.  I'm seeing a major re-do in our future.

So...back to the second coat and fingers crossed that the walls don't need a third.
