Titan

While the kids and I were looking at trees, Chad was following a lead on a truck. A bit of back story...

We knew that as much as we love it, the Xterra was not going to accommodate a family of four and all the gear needed to go camping. We started searching for a Frontier or similar truck about six months ago.

On Sunday, while looking through the paper, Chad found a Titan well within our price range. He checked out the Kelly Blue Book value and then looked again at the ad. For some reason, it was listed $5000 less. He and his dad decided to check it out.

A few hours later, they were driving home in a gorgeous Titan. A 2008 with only 12000 miles, it had been listed for the wrong price. The good people at the dealership agreed to honor the marked price and Chad left feeling, for the first time, like he got a good deal at a car dealership.

We're now the proud owners of a truck big enough for the whole family - plus two - and our camping gear, Maggie Dog and maybe a few trees?

Let camping season begin!
