Seriously. I can't tell you how addicted to SIMS 3 I am. And if I'm bad, I'm obviously raising a gaming geek. As soon as I turn on the program and the music starts, Joseph comes running out of whatever room he's in yelling, "Are we playing the game?" He sits on my lap and helps create the characters and build the houses. He especially likes it when they sleep and the "z's" float around their heads.
Yes. We're a sad pair, but what's that saying? The family that games together stays together? Something along those lines...
But...what you're wondering about, with bated breath, I'm sure, is how my sonogram went on Wednesday.
First of all...she's definitely a girl. No doubt about it now. Bring on the pink.
Secondly, it appears that she's going to be taking after my side of the family. My fluid levels (as if I'm a car!) are measuring right on for 31.5 weeks. Her head circumference and belly, on the other hand, are at 33 weeks and some odd days. In other words, she's appearing to be a very chunky baby and, while I know that sonogram weights are nothing more than educated guesses, they're estimating her current weight at 4 lbs. 3 oz.
Knowing that the weight could be completely off still give me hopes that she'll take after Chad's side of the family with their long, lean, cake-eating genes.
Thirdly, she's currently breech. I'm not super worried about that. Yet. After all, she has plenty of time to flip upside down. At least now I know that it's her head, not her butt that's shoving into my ribs.
Fourthly, yes, Mom, I know you want pictures, but every picture I take of the sonogram just doesn't turn out. It doesn't help that the sonogram pictures are blurry to begin with. (Chad still can't see the baby in one of them. And he tried.)
Long story short...no pictures, just take my word for it that this little girl already has chubby cheeks. It was exciting to get to see her again. I can't wait until she's born and I can actually pinch and kiss those chubby little cheeks.
