I'm so close. So super, super close.
Thanks to Heather and Christine, I was able to download a tracker. See? It's at the bottom of the page. Do you see what's wrong with it? That's right! For some odd and inexplicable reason, it's lined up vertical instead of horizontal.
Do I have any more internet (HTML) savvy readers out there who might be able to tell me why?

I sure can't find anything in the HTML that indicates whether it should be vertical or horizontal, or any reason it might display that way unintentionally (though the latter is hard to be sure of without being able to play around with the code). I searched the site where you got the counter from--using Google--and I sure can't find any documentation there that indicates there is an option for a vertical display.
My advice would be to choose a different counter (in the code, change type=ds9 to type=something_else) and see if it displays horizontally that way. You could also try putting the counter code in a different part of the page, like in a side bar. It may be that the context in which the counter displays is affecting it in an unexpected way, so putting it into a different context may at least shed some light on whether that's the problem.
Let me know if any of that doesn't make sense and I'll try to clarify.
I'd try shifting it on the page. Move the holder box to the side instead of the bottom... I've had issues with boxes on the bottom of the page, so I don't put them there!
