Raising Picasso

Be prepared for an Obnoxiously Proud Mother post.

Joseph loves to draw. Even when we give him a coloring book, he insists on drawing "fish" beneath the boats, "birds" in the sky and circles everywhere. We are never short notebooks in our house, so most often he draws with a marker, a crayon, a pencil, or a pen on lined paper. Today he drew something we recognized. Monsters.



I particularly like this one. Joseph told me that he has arms, hair and legs. I think he looks a little sad. I hope this doesn't mean that Joseph was sad. But at least now we have an idea what the monsters in his room look like.
