I'm afraid I've been crafting my little fingers to the bone, here in Mandyland. This weekend, I'll be opening my Etsy shop: Four Sis. (More on that later...trust me, there will be plugs.) In the meantime, I'm preparing for a home town craft fair. What am I working on? Oh...nothing much...here's a little sample:
We have hand-tied fleece blankets, wine sweater with vintage jewelry, hand-stamped and colored Christmas cards, tea-stained accent holiday cards, apple pie soap, and hats. Lots and lots of hats. (Don't you love the brown one I made J? Seriously adorable.) This little selection doesn't even show the ornaments, the bookmarks (those are really cool), the other blankets and the scarves Becky made. We're still working on several projects, including more wine sweaters and recycled wool purses. And stuffed monsters...can't forget the stuffed monsters.
I was lucky to have Jen and Kaleb come over on Saturday to help with the hat production. I'll be debuting Kaleb's original hat, Flash, at the craft fair. Jen's are beautiful concoctions of pink and red. It was fun to have them over to help. (I think they had fun too...Jen's already called to see if she could help some more. Now if only I can get K to understand that he doesn't have to pay for the bar of soap he wants to buy for his mom's Christmas gift.)
So...crafty times. I've got a few other things percolating. More details to follow. And don't worry...you will be getting a Presidential double feature. You know you can't wait.

Is this taking over the election blues. I love the hats, couldn't see the wine holder too well, but it did look cool, what was behind all of the other things?
